When your business is all about you and representing yourself, it is easy to get caught up in the small details and wanting all of the conditions to be perfect before beginning a new project. Though the intentions are genuine, it can delay projects and set you back.
By just starting the project you’ve been pushing off, you may find all the small details you were worried about work themselves out. If not, it may be way less of an issue than you anticipated, and you can spend the time you would have spent stressing over the project on something more productive.
At the end of the day, you will always be your own hardest critic, and it’s unlikely that anyone else will notice or be bothered by your child running past in the background of your video – it may even add character! A great example of this can be found in the video below. This month I brought my Mom to the cottage with me, and at 91, every bit of the time that we get to spend together is precious.
