As we see the news these days and for those of us who are a little bit addicted to the news, this is not a healthy habit to have. And trust me. I am aware of my own news addictions. You know, a lot of bad news coming down the pike with regards to banking with regards to interest rates, with regards to inflation.
But I want to remind you of a saying that I once learned from my old boss Peter Legge who has just retired from his company Canada-wide Magazines, a multi-millionaire. His phrase that he taught me many years ago was that “decisions based in fear are typically wrong.”
So really know this. If you are coming to your decisions right now in this moment in time based on some sort of fear of something that’s going to happen in the future.
Now, of course, there are savvy business decisions. There’s probably a lot of opportunity out there because of what’s going on. But be aware of where your decisions are coming from, and I think that will serve you quite nicely in the future.
Just remember, decisions based in fear are typically wrong.
I’ll see you soon, Wealthy Speakers.
