#SpeakerSuccessTip: When is it Time to Stop Learning?

#SpeakerSuccessTip: How to Book More Speaking

Learning is one of my values – continuous learning. Perhaps it’s yours too, or else you wouldn’t stay subscribed to these tips. Am I right?

I love nothing more than hearing about a new concept or idea, investigating it and finding some knowledge that I can add to my expertise.

Learning is a beautiful thing!

But at what point do you stop attending webinars, joining groups, reading books, hiring coaches and just start getting sh*t done???

Taking action is really the bottom line.

And if you suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out), perhaps you should practice letting go a little bit at a time. Perhaps you missed a monthly meeting or signed up for a webinar but just got the replay and kept it in a “learning for later” file.

There are some people that I’ve seen join and participate in every single learning event that we’ve offered, and from each event, they have taken action.

These are our action-takers.

And then there are some who continue to pile on more and more learning and join more groups…. never actually implementing anything.

These are our action-avoiders.

They will stockpile knowledge…. but never implement it.

Which one are you?  An action-taker or an action-avoider?

If you have a tendency to join everything, I really want you to ask yourself, “Why.” Are you hoping that “this is the thing that will solve all of my problems and get me more speaking engagements?”

Because if you’re looking for that thing…. Guess what?

The answer is – take action!

That’s it. Simple, in a nutshell, just take action. Move forward. And if you make a mistake, move forward again in a different direction.

I’ll see you soon Wealthy Speakers!
