‘Best Website Contest’ Finalists Announced! It’s Time to Vote!

Oh boy, we had an amazing number of websites to review for this year’s Best Website Contest. I encourage you to go through the submitted sites and my comments, as the idea behind this contest is learning and there are a lot of great tips and ideas.

If your website was submitted and didn’t make it to the semi-finals, please know that there were just so many great sites to choose from, that even some great ones did not make it.

Among other things, we looked for: a strong promise, clear outcomes, good video and a unique or interesting look and feel.

  • Dave Lieber’s site caught my attention first and best because, if I was a meeting planner, the BOOK DAVE button is front and center, making it easy to find and take action. The photo is static=nice. The audience is engaged, laughing, (their faces can be seen) and it is a great social proof shot. This is the #1 best kind of shot. His phone and email were easily visible.
