Over the last 14 months, we’ve seen some major shifts in the professional speaking industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a world that almost overnight went virtual, many speakers saw the immediate need to embrace the shift and up their ‘virtual’ game.
Now, over a year later, we are seeing some of the amazing ways that professional speakers are offering virtual presentations in lieu of the traditional in-person stage. So, at Speaker Launcher, we decided that we should celebrate the hard work that has been done with our 2021 Best Virtual Demo Video contest.
We’ve talked a LOT about virtual over the last year and shared a ton of information on how every speaker can up their game. From How to Raise the Bar with Virtual Speaking and Presentations to Adjusting Your Mindset for Selling and Delivering Virtual Presentations to Selling Bigger Virtual Packages with Laurie Guest and, of course, Increasing Your Virtual Earnings 4X with Chris West, we covered it all!
Now we want to see how you did following all the tips and advice we provided! We want you to join us for some friendly competition and submit your virtual demo video to our 2021 contest.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Does the video grab our attention quickly?
- Does it demonstrate how you engage your audience?
- Will it give me confidence that you know what you are doing (technically)?
- Does it show me how you are different?

For those of you suffering from FOMO because you don’t have a virtual video, my goal isn’t to make you feel that you are lacking. If you haven’t needed one, that is okay. Just follow along with the contest to learn, and perhaps the intel will help you down the road.
